Hi, I’m Jaehee, the face behind Radiant Photography by JS. I specialize in natural light portraits for families, seniors, and professionals throughout South Bend and the Michiana region.
My sessions are gently guided yet natural, creating images that feel timeless, genuine, and full of connection.
As a mom of three boys, I understand how quickly life moves. My goal is to create a relaxed experience and preserve this season of your life in a way that feels real and lasting.
my story
My love for photography began with my own children.
One of my most treasured images is of my son sliding into home base during a youth baseball game — the umpire signaling “safe.” The joy in that moment was unforgettable.
He’s now a young adult with nothing to do with baseball in his life, yet that photograph still brings me right back to that feeling. It’s a reminder that seasons change and children grow faster than we expect.
Capturing moments like that — honest, joyful, and timeless — is why I do what I do.
I chose the name Radiant after a special session photographing volunteers and staff at local non-profit organizations. Seeing their selfless hearts through my lens, I witnessed a beauty that went so much deeper than the surface—it was a glow of pure joy and purpose. It brought the truth of Psalm 34:5 to life for me:
"Those who look to Him are radiant."
That beautiful light is what I strive to celebrate in every family and senior I meet. My goal is to honor your unique story by capturing the genuine spirit and light that makes you who you are. I would be so deeply honored to preserve this season of your life.
